‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Will Sal DeJulio be a worthy JoJo Fletcher contender?
We’re starting to get near the end of our “Bachelorette” spotlight series, and hopefully that means we’re going to have a shot to see a few interesting contenders soon actually on the show with JoJo Fletcher. Is Sal DeJulio one of them? Well, there’s not a lot of information about him out there, but based on what we’ve seen so far, we have not really seen enough of him to feel that he’s going to be someone viewers really remember and respond to.
We’ll hopefully learn more about him as the season goes on; for now, just take a look at the official spotlight below.
Name – Sal DeJulio
Age – 28
Occupation – Operations manager. Not exactly the most descriptive job in the world, right? Well, if nothing else you can at least celebrate that he has a real job other than actor / model.
Location – Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Seriously? How many contestants do we need from this one place? We know it’s a fairly large city, but we’re not talking about Los Angeles or New York here.
Pros – Hey, he doesn’t like the Kardashians per his bio, which we’re going to read as a positive sign. It’s not just Kardashian-bashing here; instead, we’re celebrating that he may not like people who want to be famous just for the basis of being famous. Isn’t this a step in the right direction for reality stars? Also, he emphasizes humor. Maybe that means he’ll be entertaining.
Cons – When asked what he would bring to an island, one of the answers he responds to is a gun, which seems like the worst idea ever since A) you don’t need it and B) you’re going to eventually run out of ammo.
Most likely to… Be completely forgettable? Talk about guns? Hard to say with this guy.
Final assessment – In case you cannot tell, we’re not that high on Sal as a contender this season. He’s not particularly interesting from his bio, and there’s nothing about him that stands out. Hopefully, that’ll change once we dive into JoJo Fletcher’s journey.
