‘Person of Interest’ season 5, episode 6 preview: ‘A More Perfect Union’

We really hope that you enjoy “Person of Interest” in large doses, since next week, you’re going to get a ton of new episodes! There are three installments that are airing starting on Monday night; one episode here will air at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, and then there will be two episodes that air starting at 9:00 on Tuesday.

The promo below gives you a little bit of a sense of what is coming up in the next three episodes, and unfortunately, there’s nothing really in here when it comes to specifics as to what is going to be coming up. Instead, you have a moment in here that is a little bit of “Person of Interest” meets “Magic Mike,” and a sign or two that there is some more action ahead. In true CBS fashion, though, we don’t really think that the tone of this promo really matches the tone of the show in the slightest. Can you really be that shocked by that? You shouldn’t be.

The title for Tuesday’s episode is “A More Perfect Union,” and we do think the synopsis below gives you a little bit more information when it comes to what to expect:

“The Machine sends Reese and Finch to a wedding to protect a pair of POIs before their nuptials. Also, Fusco becomes angry at being kept in the dark by the team and takes it upon himself to investigate a string of missing person reports.”

Now, let’s just hope that these episodes prove to accelerate things in a big way, and get us excited for what is likely going to be a more-than-thrilling endgame for the season.
