‘Doctor Who’ season 10: John Barrowman remains coy on possible return

Doctor Who -For more than a week or so, there has been quite a bit of speculation now when it comes to the status of a certain John Barrowman on “Doctor Who.” We know that he has been on a promotional tour throughout the United Kingdom as of late, and to go along with that, we know specifically that he has been doing work on a secret project in Cardiff.

So is an appearance happening at some point in the future? For the time being, Barrowman is being coy on the subject; speaking in a new interview on the BBC’s “The One Show” (per the Mirror), the actor simply said that he would be happy to make an appearance as Captain Jack at some point in the future:

“I’d love to, keep watching. Keep watching, I’ve love to! I don’t know! It’s not up to me … but keep watching!”

Much of the speculation around Barrowman has been that if he were to turn up, it would be in the Christmas Special preceding season 10 a little bit later this year. All we know for certain is that if he was to do something, he would have to act fairly quickly thanks mostly to the fact that he begins work on the fifth season of “Arrow” a little later this summer. Since we have not heard anything proclaiming otherwise, for the time being we have to assume that he is a series regular over on The CW once again.

One way or another, what we do know is that season 10 is going to give us the arrival of Pearl Mackie as the new Companion; hopefully, we’ll have some more news on her in due time.
