The sixth season of “Hawaii Five-0” got a chance to air on CBS for a rather long time from fall to spring. It had one of the largest overall episode counts of any show on the network, and while we’re not going to say that the ratings were tremendous in the 18-49 demographic, they were good enough to still enable CBS to make a ton of money on the show.
Unfortunately, the news that we have tonight is that there is not another story to check out for the month of May. The season finale aired last week, and now we’re stuck waiting until most likely September to see the show return with some new episodes. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to check out some very exciting storylines, but who knows what the writers precisely have planned?
We would imagine that when the show returns, one of the more interesting dynamics could be that of Danny and McGarrett in the wake of the liver transplant. Will going through this experience change the two in any way, or will they have some other struggles that end up rising to the surface? These are issues that are worth watching. Another way to look at these two guys is that they are so committed to their job that there may not even be that much time in order for the two of them to sit around and digest precisely what happens to them.
Ultimately, we figure that we’ll have a lot more when it comes to updates on the show over the course of the weeks / months ahead. Be on the lookout for further news!
