For those of you who love “Bloodline,” rest assured that the waiting for season 2 is almost at an end! The show returns with new episodes on Friday, and in the video below (via Entertainment Weekly), you can see Kyle Chandler and many other members of the cast discussing what sort of impact you can expect some of these characters to have on each other … especially when it comes to Danny.
Is he dead? Absolutely, but the thing is with this family being dead is hardly a sentence for someone to go away. Suspiciously, these people have a habit of being able to turn up beyond the grave and cause all sorts of chaos, and this is something that we definitely expect the show to really work at and exploit psychologically over the course of the upcoming episodes.
As a whole, we’d tell you to prepare for a season that is somehow much darker than the first season, and one where secrets could ultimately tear characters apart in unexpected ways.
On a different note, let’s talk something else that really stands out in this video: The setting. While there are a number of shows that are set in Florida, how many of them actually film in the state? The number is probably less than you think; it still takes by surprise when we’re reminded that “Dexter” wasn’t filmed on location the majority of the time. However, “Bloodline” really takes advantage of its Florida Keys setting, creating an atmosphere that is much different than what you tend to see on other shows. This is a unique world, and it’s one worth checking out if you haven’t already.
