‘UnREAL’ season 2 spoilers: A sense of tension as ‘Everlasting’ begins again

For everyone out there who loves “UnREAL” and the show-within-a-show that is “Everlasting,” great news: It will be back on the air before you know it! The show’s premiere date is Monday, June 6, and when we come back, we’ll be doing so with an episode entitled “War” … and we have to think that there is going to be plenty of conflict and then some over the course of this hour.

If you look below (via SpoilerTV), you can get a few details regarding what to expect, and also what Chet’s role is going to be in slowly blowing things up … otherwise known as the same sort of nonsense he has a history of doing time and time again:

“Quinn has recently promoted Rachel to produce season 14 of “EVERLASTING” and Rachel sets out to change history by casting the first African American suitor. When Chet arrives back on set to reclaim control of the show, Rachel and Quinn find the new suitor being swayed by Chet and his new vision.”

It certainly makes sense that this would be a major conflict for Rachel and Quinn to have to deal with, given that Chet’s the sort of person who is going to feel entitled to do whatever he wants here, given that this is after all a show that he has at least had a part in for a long time. Yet, at the same time, he’s now the person who has really done the vast majority of the legwork. That goes instead to Rachel and Quinn.
