‘The 100’ season 3 finale spoilers: Eliza Taylor on Clarke’s romantic future

Is it possible that Clarke could find someone else romantically on “The 100“? Given what we’ve seen from her over the course of the entire series, it’s still something that is really hard to fathom. She’s been so close to Lexa and the two of them have had such a journey that it’s really difficult, at least for now, to see past that following the character’s death earlier this season.

So for Eliza Taylor, for now it appears that she is focusing more so on the present and give it time to see what happens. We know that there will be something at least resembling closure to Lexa in the finale, and Taylor had the following to say to TVLine on her future beyond that:

“It’s so hard for me to say. When someone you love passes away, it takes years for you to feel like yourself again. I kind of want to stay true to that, as an ode to Lexa and what they were to each other. I don’t think Clarke had ever experienced a love like that before. In a lot of ways — selfishly, as Eliza — I’d love for her to be happy and get it on with someone new, but I think Lexa was Clarke’s love, and it’s probably going to take a long time for that to not hurt. And in true The 100 fashion, there are much more important things to worry about right now. It’s not about how you feel, it’s about how you’re going to survive.”

Ultimately, we have a feeling that the danger in the finale is what ultimately takes center stage. It will be an interesting journey, and we’re ultimately rather fascinating to see precisely how all of that pans out. We’ll have a full review up after it airs.
