‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 22 video: Oliver, Diggle discover Darhk’s secret ‘lair’

On Wednesday night’s new episode of “Arrow,” we’re going to see a battle brought to the streets … specifically, the streets that Damien Darhk has created in his secret underground community.

The sneak peek below gives you a little bit of insight into how Oliver and Diggle are going to discover this world, and in turn, what sort of challenges await them here. Specifically, we’re going to see Malcolm Merlyn be ordered to track them down and stop them by Ruve … and maybe he’ll be eager to do just that. He knows more now about what Ruve and Darhk are planning, and had effectively bought himself a place on the ark.

This preview is certainly compelling, though fans of “The 100” should also appreciate a certain reference that is made in here. (Yes, it’s also a reference to something that exists in real life, but this is The CW, and we’re sure the writers were well aware of what they were doing when they threw this in there.)

One way or another, whatever happens in this episode will probably carry over to the finale, which in turn should serve as the final battle between Oliver and Darhk unless the show surprises us in some way and decides to carry this over into season 5. One way or another, there’ll probably be a few Easter eggs planted in here to get us excited about that next phase of the story, as well … even if it doesn’t premiere for a while.
