‘Ink Master’ season 7 finale preview: Anthony Michaels, Christian Buckingham, Cleen Rock One battle
Next week, “Ink Master” season 7 is going to feature the live finale, and we’ve got three artists present for it who we have know are going to be bringing their best work to the table. We’ve got two people in Anthony Michaels and Christian Buckingham who have been there since the very beginning, and also someone in Cleen Rock One who showed up not too long after that. The three are all super-skilled, and they’re going to have a shot to do something that they really haven’t had an opportunity to so far this season: Really put their all into 2 24 hour tattoos.
The finales for this show are in some ways wonky, but what we do like about them is that they have the capacity to be unpredictable. There’s no edit here, so the judges really have the control of the narrative in declaring the winner.
As for what the remaining artists are up against, look at it this way: They’re going to be working on 2 huge pieces over a 48-hour period: One 24 hour tattoo will test their weaknesses (with the style being handed out by the judges) and the other 24 hour tattoo testing their strengths (whatever the artist wants to showcase).
Personally, we’d say that Anthony is our personal favorite going into this episode, but at the same time, how can you underestimate someone like Cleen who has been to two finales? It’s crazy, and a sign of his consistency as a master.
