‘Chicago Fire’ season 5: Premiere date hopes for Taylor Kinney – Jesse Spencer series

Chicago Fire -Tonight, NBC is saying goodbye to “Chicago Fire” with a finale that will probably do a pretty good job of making you bust out your latest box of tissues. Also, they’re going to force you into a lengthy period of waiting, as there will not be another new episode until the fall.

We’ve already seen the upcoming schedule, and while we do not know an official premiere date just yet, it’s likely that not too much will change. Given that there is no “Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris” anymore, it’s possible that we could get an earlier premiere date, but that’s about it there. It will still be on Tuesday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern, and the only real change on the night is that with “Chicago Med” heading to Thursdays, the show will now be preceded by new drama “This Is Us.”

We’ll have some further chances to talk about what could happen story-wise over the course of the coming days, but with “Chicago Justice” also coming on the air in the upcoming 2016-17 season, this franchise is going to be expanding once more. While it doesn’t feel like there is a whole lot of logical connective tissue between this show and that one, you never know what could happen! Therefore, we’re not ruling it out that they would have a chance to show up on here before it premieres at midseason. (“Chicago Justice” was left off of the fall schedule, and will only have 13 episodes for its first season.)
