‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 22 spoilers: Oliver, Thea square off

The penultimate episode of “Arrow” season 4 is going to air on The CW come Thursday night, and based on some of the just-released photos courtesy of the network, it appears like the name of the game could definitely be conflict.

In the photo above, you can see some of that conflict play out courtesy of Oliver and his own sister! Is she really in her right mind? It’s a worthy question, since there’s a perfectly good chance that she and her new outfit (which feels almost straight out of a “Doctor Who” episode) have been the latest victim of Damien Darhk’s brainwashing.

This fight will be one of many stumbles that Oliver has to overcome at this point to defeat the Big Bad of the season, who seems to be at this point more powerful than ever after absorbing so much magic on this past episode. Then again, didn’t a wise sage once say that the night is always darkest before the dawn? Maybe this is true here.

We certainly don’t expect anything to be resolved one way or another in this particular episode, especially since there’s only one more after it. Why tie up loose ends now, when you can wait until the finale to do some of the work instead? We’re going to have more on this episode later in the week, and one thing to specifically watch out for is a struggle for Felicity as she copes with her big decision.
