‘Faking It’ season 3 cancellation: Katie Stevens, Rita Volk, and more react

With this week having everything from upfronts to finales to a wide array of various announcements (it’s a busy one!), we still feel like we haven’t had a chance to give “Faking It” and its untimely end its due. It was a fun show first and foremost; given that this is a comedy, we really don’t want to minimize the ability that it had to make us laugh.

Beyond that, the show also managed to achieve quite a bit when it comes to showing off inclusion, and an ability to tell important stories without making them ever feel like it was a message-first show. Instead, the message feels organic, and if you watched this show, it was easy to root for almost every character who was a part of it. Below, you can read some more tributes from the cast members who took part from the very beginning.

Gregg Sulkin (Liam) – “You have heard the news. Thanks for 3 incredible seasons. Couldn’t have done it without you guys. #FakingIt enjoyed every single second.

Bailey De Young (Lauren) – “To the fans, cast, crew, writers, & entire faking it fam. THANK YOU. You are amazing & I have a special place in my heart for you all.”

The series finale of “Faking It” is going to air on MTV Tuesday night.
