‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 finale video: The Olympian crystal crisis

In just a mere matter of hours, the season finale of “Once Upon a Time” is going to be upon us … and in turn, we’re going to see some of our characters dealing with a wide array of different crises. One of the biggest ones seems to be the remnants of all that went down with the Olympian crystals. This is what was used in order to reduce Robin Hood to a pile of ash, and now, Rumpelstiltskin seems to be in control of what is left.

What does he have planned? It seems to be in part using Belle’s father to ensure that she comes back from her state of slumber, which is something he has not been willing to do so far. Now, we’re going to have a race against time to make sure that he doesn’t use it, and is stopped before he can do anything to anyone.

One of the problems that is coming up in the midst of this is that for the time being, our heroes are not on the same page at all. Regina is clearly still reeling from everything that happened with Robin, and that is why Emma and company want her to sit the upcoming mission out. However, she does have a point here that when Emma is in crisis, everyone bends over backwards to support her, while in her situation everyone wants her to back off.

Does history dictate some of this? Sure, but at some point these characters have to think that the Evil Queen is dead and buried. We’ll find out soon if that time is now.
