‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Will JoJo Fletcher suitor Chad Johnson give himself the final rose?
For the latest edition of our “Bachelorette” spotlight series, we’re putting the focus on a guy who may not need to look for love. After all, he really seems to love himself. Maybe this is all some sort of an act, but based on what we’re seeing about Chad Johnson right now, it seems like he is a total narcissist who could easily end up being the villain of the season.
Could he still end up being a contender for JoJo Fletcher despite this? Well, let’s do our part to analyze that below…
Name – Chad Johnson
Age – 28
Occupation – Luxury Real Estate Agent. Hey, he’s got something in common with JoJo! Yet, at the same time couldn’t he have just said “Real Estate Agent” in this and gotten the job done?
Location – Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hey, at least he’s someone not from California. There are a TON of those this season.
Pros – Hey, he’s confident, and we think that he’s going to put himself out there often in the early going. He’s from a similar part of the country as JoJo, and probably can relate to her more in some ways than the other guys around.
Cons – Just reading his bio alone, he doesn’t actually answer the majority of the questions and just impersonates Matthew McConaughey. He’s clearly not taking this seriously; if he couldn’t bother to actually put thought into a bio, why should we think he will care at all about the season or about getting along with JoJo or the guys?
Most likely to… Get eliminated on a two-on-one date, throw a tantrum, and probably yell at a camera on the way out. Also, most likely to go on “Bachelor in Paradise” and claim that he’s a good guy.
Final assessment – There’s no way this guy wins. His ego is too huge for this show, we’ve never seen anyone recover from such an awkward pre-show introduction and was suddenly a likable, interesting figure on TV.
