ABC’s ‘Castle’ series finale video: The last Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion sneak peek
It still does feel weird to write those words in the title, but here we are, talking about a sneak peek for the upcoming series finale of “Castle” airing on ABC Monday night. It’s a difficult thing to digest, and it is probably not going to be that way up until the minute the end credits roll. How could it be anything else at this point?
The sneak peek below may be the last one that we write about for the finale, and it features Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) trying to preserve their safety while in the midst of the LokSat investigation, which is starting to blow up in all directions. The stakes have never been higher for the two of them, especially since whoever is behind all of this is going to really going to have some sort of deadly plan for the two of them.
Will something terrible happen? The good news is that the odds are low, given that the producers filmed two separate endings to the show in the case the show was canceled, and you’re going to get the one that ties everything together in some way. That should be a great gift to everyone watching; we’ve already explained our complicated feelings about the show’s cancellation, but we are thrilled that those out there who were wanting closure to some storylines, and to see the show end in a way that features most of the core cast, will have that.
We’ll have a full review of the finale on Monday … and yes, we expect that there will be tissues.

After the peeks, I do not want to see it. I have never seen a story destroyed like this in my entire life. This is Jar Jar Binks level destruction. Epic Love is not possible, no-one is ever happy, and women you love and respect are really manipulative liers. The quick witted hero with all the charm and confidence in the world is really a sniveling clown. Thanks Alexi Hawley for ruining the show and taking the characters out for good measure. Literally having a difficult time watching reruns knowing the true dispair. We’ll film a scene to wrap it all up? Great after filming 51 minutes putting the icing on the destroy it all cake. Classy!

The ending you will see will be the choice of TPTB at ABC, not Winter nor Hawley. They directed the multiple endings and left on vacation. My perfect ending would be Alexis and Haley turning off the lights and locking the door to the vacant Castle PI. office .

As much as I hate the PI angle, can’t go that far. Caskett happily ever after. It’s just been too long to let it go. Though after the horrendous writing this past season it is almost unbelievable at this point. Sad! Literally last years ending felt perfect, Castle and Beckett would live happily ever after. And now I could get Josh Weeded to write the final on a spaceship with Kate Beckett completely trained as the verses perfect companion and your assumption would still be divorce in 3 months. WOW that is some good show writing. Way to stay true to the story!

I want a good ending but I think we are not going to get it.
Awhile ago it was said neither ending was pretty and I have not forgotten.
It would be nice if Hawley grew a heart and if nothing else wants you to buy S8 with the multiple endings and he gives us a happy send off.
I said if Hawley grew a heart …..??not likely the way he ruined this once great show.
