‘Shark Tank’ video: Is Gladiator Lacrosse a better way to play?

We’re not going to enter this particular “Shark Tank” video article claiming to know much about lacrosse, since we don’t. We know that it’s that sport featured on “Teen Wolf” all the time, and maybe that is in part why it’s labeled in the presentation below by Gladiator Lacrosse as the “fastest sport in America.”

There are some other reasons why this claim makes some sense. For one, sports like soccer, basketball, and football are already widespread, and with more and more information coming out about the long-term health issues that can come from the latter, more people may be looking for an alternative. This could be it, but the challenge here for Gladiator is figuring out a way to convince the Sharks that their brand of equipment is better than anyone else’s, even though none of them appear to be experts in lacrosse in the slightest.

There are times when we feel good about a product entering the Tank, and then there are times we have little to no clue how something will do. This is the latter. It’s hard to sell the Sharks on something that is not proprietary, but if they feel like this is something that can be sold quickly without competition, it’s worth a bite. One potential problem is that you are dealing with a teenage CEO with other priorities like school. How do you have someone devote the time necessary in order to grow an expanding company?
