‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 22 preview: ‘Lost in the Flood’ and an Oliver Queen rescue mission

Oliver -

Tonight, “Arrow” brought back Noah for what was ultimately the beginning of an epic battle against Damien Darhk. Moving into next week’s “Lost in the Flood,” the road is going to be even more dangerous. We consider this in some ways to be part 2 of an epic three-part story, though you could trace back the beginnings of this even further to the first episode without Laurel Lance if you really wanted to.

Want to get some other news when it comes to what to expect? Then check out the official synopsis right now:

“Following the shocking events in the previous episode, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) race to rescue Thea (Willa Holland), while Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Curtis (Echo Kellum) and Noah (guest star Tom Amandes) join together to stop Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough).”

We hope that this hour gives Thea plenty of opportunities to be awesome, if for no other reason than that we’ve certainly seen a lot of her needing to be rescued over the years, even ever since she first took on the Speedy persona. Meanwhile, for Diggle we just hope that he can find a way to keep it together.

Oh, and if you are curious about the title, it is an ongoing “Arrow” tradition to name the penultimate episode after a Bruce Springsteen song.

Updated with promo: The good news is that Oliver is going to find Thea! The bad news? It doesn’t seem like she is altogether greeting him with open arms.
