On Thursday night’s new episode of “The 100,” we are going to see what is effectively the beginning of the end this season; not only that, but this is going to be one of the most dangerous hours of TV that we’ve had a chance to see on the show just yet (and that’s saying something when you consider what we’ve seen so far).
What is exciting is that for the finale, apparently many of our heroes are going to be teaming up with a singular goal: Trying to take out ALIE once and for all. We don’t get a whole lot of opportunities to see everyone together on this show when there is so much going on, and that is exciting in itself.
What should also prove itself to be rather interesting is that we’re going to get a chance to see in this episode whether or not there will be a new source of power uncovered, and if there is a huge cliffhanger or just a small teaser leading up to the finale.
Given some of the uncertainty over at The CW right now, something that you have to be aware of as a viewer of this show is that the period of waiting between now and the next season could be a rather long time. “The 100” wasn’t on the fall schedule this year, and with the network bringing back everything on their roster for another season (at least other than “Containment,” which debuted late), there aren’t many holes. This is especially true if there are some new series picked up and “Supergirl” is brought over, which is possible.
