‘Saturday Night Live’ preview: Drake sits on Leslie Jones’ lap

There is a new episode of “Saturday Night Live” once again coming your way this weekend, and this time around the host is a guy in Drake who is probably living the high life right now. His new record “Views from the 6” has become an overnight success, he’s been appearing at Raptors games, and he will be performing to go along with doing sketches this weekend.

Heck, even the guy’s promo below with Leslie Jones is really funny, as he quickly learns for one that she has a thing for grabbing his butt. Also, she makes it very clear to him that all she ever really does is smile, and she may be the happiest person out there! Whether or not he believes that is an entirely different story, and the same goes for whether or not he has a choice.

While both of the aforementioned gags are funny, the one that really had us on the floor is the one that involved Drake sitting on her laugh and proceeding to the next bit of the promo. Jones is very good at this sort of bold, brash humor, and what’s great about Drake on this show in particular is that he’s the sort of guy who is fine to take more of a secondary role and react to the craziness of others. We wouldn’t say that his last episode hosting the show was a classic, but that was more because of the material than anything he did. We found him enjoyable, and he certainly seemed game to do almost anything.
