‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 21 video: Why Felicity needs Noah’s help

We’re at that point on “Arrow” where there is bad news at almost every turn, and the bad news is that over the course of the next few weeks, we’re liable to see things only get worse from here.

For the latest example of that, just look at the new sneak peek below for Wednesday night’s new episode “Monument Point,” which makes one thing clear more so than any other: Felicity Smoak is probably going to need some help to take down Rubicon and stop Damien Darhk’s plan to basically blow up much of the known world. Specifically, she’s going to need help from her father Noah, otherwise known as the Calculator.

Will he prove himself to be an asset? This is unfortunately filed under “questions we have no answer to” at the moment, but we’re certainly hopeful that he could. After all, what would he really get out of Darhk executing his plan? If he did want to continue exercising his criminal ways, he’d have a much smaller pool to work from. Ultimately, maybe it’s best to think of this as something that is mutually beneficial to all parties involved.

Ultimately, it all comes down to trust, and we definitely understand why someone like John Diggle would be a little less interested in trusting someone like Noah at the moment given the fact that his brother Andy just recently betrayed the team. Now, Andy is going to be buried in the ground somewhere, since John had no choice in the end other than putting him down for the sake of his family.
