‘NCIS’ season 13 video: See Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo, and more in Tony retrospective

While we know that there are plenty of people out there who can and probably always will quibble with some of the story decisions on “NCIS” proper, we’re at least glad to see CBS promoting Michael Weatherly’s exit from the show in as many ways as they possibly can.

In the video below, you can see a list of some of the best moments from the character over the years. This includes some moments of laughter, life-altering decisions, and of course some romance. It’s certainly nice to see that Cote de Pablo is not forgotten in here, given how important she was to the show and to the Tony DiNozzo character for many years.

At the end of the video, you also get a little bit of a sense of what Tony’s final goodbye is going to be like. Think of this almost as the goodbye before the goodbye, since it’s going to be emotional. Our advice? Go ahead and get some of the hankies ready now, since it’ll save you the trouble later. We’ve still got seven days to go until this episode airs, but it’s better to be prepared now.

For those who have not heard, it’s looking increasingly unlikely that we will see Weatherly gone from the show for very long. After all, he is starring in the pilot for “Bull,” another CBS series that could be greenlit over the next couple of weeks. Given his star power, we’re feeling fairly confident about it.
