‘Jane the Virgin’ season 2 finale spoilers: First look at a wedding!
It’s a time-honored tradition for many shows to end their season with a wedding, and it’s with that in mind that we’re not exactly surprised to see “Jane the Virgin” end its own second season with a story all about a big affair for Michael and Jane. Will they actually get a chance to walk down the aisle and say “I do”? That’s something that we are going to have to wait and see when this story actually comes on the air.
What we can tell you based on the preview below is that there is potential for a whole lot of chaos; specifically, the word “telenovela” is thrown around, and we certainly but that the show is throwing everything at the wall and seeing what happens. The synopsis below gives us a further sense as to what is coming up:
“After moving up the wedding day, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Michael (Brett Dier) find all their carefully made plans thrown into chaos. To make matters worse, Jane is unhappy with her current graduate thesis, but changing it might put a wrinkle in her big day. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) still has feelings for Jane, but is torn about whether he should speak now or forever hold his peace. Petra (Yael Grobglas) has her own family drama when Anezka (Yael Grobglas) has a medical emergency and ends up in the hospital. Meanwhile, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) and Xo (Andrea Navedo) are finally coming to terms with the state of their relationship until Xo gets surprising news.”
We ultimately expect that there could be a cliffhanger at the end of this that leads us to the upcoming third season … or if nothing else, this show will probably give everyone something to talk about. After all, this is a show that loves that sort of buzz!
