‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Is a huge Harrison Wells story coming in finale?

Harrison -

The journey for Harrison Wells on “The Flash” has been a difficult one. He started out this season as a stranger in a strange land, but over time he has endeared himself to STAR Labs, and showed in the process that he is different from the Earth-1 incarnation of the character otherwise known as the Reverse-Flash.

Yet, what happens when Zoom is gone? Will he stay on this Earth? There are still a few questions when it comes to Harry that he don’t have full answers on just yet, but we can at least give you a fun new tease from Tom Cavanagh (via Entertainment Weekly), one where he does his best to explain just how there is one moment in particular in the season 2 finale (airing on May 24) that he has been wanting to do for the majority of the season:

“We have this scene where I kept it in my back pocket the entire seaso … I knew there would be a moment where we’d get to play it, and sure enough these guys wrote this episode, our season finale, where it’s in there, and I’ve just been longing to do it. This is the domain of television where, when you’ve done something for 22 episodes and it builds up to something in the 23rd hour, that’s a joy to get to play it, because here comes the pay off. In many ways, where we’re leading to for the season, the payoffs are extreme.”

We have literally no idea what Cavanagh is talking about here, whether it be related to Wells being on Earth-1, his daughter Jesse, his counterpart being really Eobard Thawne in disguise, or something else entirely. There’s a lot of mystery here, but in some ways that adds to the overall excitement.
