Tonight, “The Amazing Race 28” gave us the final leg before the finale, and with that did have a couple of pretty fun challenges. We’re not going to say that this episode really reigned supreme insofar as content goes, but it did set the stage for a big finale that could be at least somewhat competitive.
So going into it, who is the #1 favorite? We don’t quite know how you say anyone other than Tyler & Korey given where the teams are right now. They’ve been the most dominant duo over the course of the entire season, or at least of the teams who are left. They’ve also done a really good job of avoiding any huge blowups with each other along the way, which has helped them to establish some consistency and overcome occasional mistakes.
As a matter of fact, with Burnie & Ashley out of the race this may be one of the more lopsided finales in recent memory. We’re not writing off Dana & Matt and Sheri & Cole, but these two do have some significant work ahead of them if they want to overthrow the favorites. For Dana & Matt, they gotta get along; meanwhile, Sheri & Cole have to run a perfect leg and hope for some mistakes elsewhere.
We know that the finale is going to send the remaining teams back to America, and based on the preview, there will be some tears, some physically-demanding tasks, and then also some scary moments.
