‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ episode 13 video: Another ‘shocker’ apparently coming

Survivor -Should you trust “Survivor” promos to deliver on their promises? That’s an interesting question with a complicated answer. We think the majority of the time the show does practice what they preach, albeit sometimes in unexpected ways. Then again, it’s CBS’ job to promote the show, and they’re never going to put something out there that says “this week, prepare for a fairly generic boot for someone who was on the outside.”

The latest promo below, therefore, does its part to hint at another “shocker” coming your way. If we had to guess judging from the way Jeff Probst says the word “again” in here, we’d say that another medical evacuation could be coming. Of the remaining players, the majority of them have been checked out by medical onscreen in a significant way. Aubry was at risk of a serious infection weeks ago when Neal was taken out of the game, Tai had those bad scrapes down his thighs, and we’re sure you remember Cydney getting attention in the same challenge that Caleb was evacuated.

Just because we mention these three doesn’t mean that Joe or Michele are safe, either. Joe specifically has already been exhausted in challenges, and we’re talking about a man over 70 who has worked his butt off to provide in this game. As for Michele, anything can happen at any time with these conditions, even if she does appear to be safe on the surface.

Is there another possibility coming up that is not a medical issue? Maybe if the likes of Tai, Michele, and Cydney get together to blindside either Joe or Aubry; to us, that’s the only other thing right now that justifies the “shocker” label, if Wednesday’s episode lives up to this billing.
