‘The Originals’ season 3, episode 20 spoilers: Danielle Campbell on Davina’s fate

Are we going to see Davina find some sort of a second life on “The Originals” season 3 moving forward? It’s a difficult question to answer, but for now we have at least our take on the situation. Given that we just lost Cami, we’d like to think that Davina getting the life sapped out of her is something that is not going to stick.

Unfortunately, for the time being you’re not getting too much word one way or another on the subject. All Danielle Campbell would say in talking about her future to TVLine is that for now, everything is up in the air:

“It’s hard to say for sure … A lot of it depends on story arcs and availability down the line, but I think it’s going to be up in the air. [The producers and writers are] still going to be figuring out the next storylines once they return for the next season, so it hinges on what’ll happen a few months from now. But never say never!”

Given that there is still some time to go this season before things firmly come to a close, we’re personally feeling rather confident that we’re going to be getting some answers one way or another. The question is just what those answers are. We know that for us, we don’t really want to lose any more main characters this season given that Leah Pipes does seem to be gone already, and you don’t quite know what is going to happen to some of the other people who are recurring on the show at present. Those lives are always going to be on the line.
