‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 21 preview: Can ‘Monument Point,’ the Calculator turn tide against Damien Darhk?

Tonight’s new episode of “Arrow” has come and gone, and through that hour we had a chance to see Oliver and Felicity try to determine if there was a way through magic in order to defeat Damien Darhk. As it turns out, the two may still need to search for some other options if they want to pull off their mission successfully.

“Monument Point” is the title for the next new episode airing on The CW within a week, and the synopsis below gives you a sense as to just how far the team is willing to go in order to stop this man once and for all. Specifically, they’re going to be looking to none other than the Calculator:

“When Team Arrow learns what Damien Darhk’s (guest star Neal McDonough) next move is Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) realizes she needs to ask her father, Noah Kuttler (guest star Tom Amandes), for help. Noah and Oliver (Stephen Amell) have a heart to heart talk that leaves Oliver rattled.”

Will Noah be able to help, or is he too dangerous a man to trust? That’s a question that we are asking ourselves right now, especially since trust is a rather difficult thing to come by in this world. Just look at what Diggle just went through after trying to trust Andy, and how much pain that ended up causing.

Basically, the promo below does an excellent job of showing off the greater chaos, especially when it comes to the Genesis project accelerating thanks to Damien Darhk having what he does. It does make some sense that we’d be seeing more of the Calculator now, right?
