ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: First look at Stana Katic in final episode
As many “Castle” fans (or at least people who were “Castle” fans) are likely aware of, May 16 is both the date of the season finale and the final appearance from one Stana Katic as a member of the cast. It’s going to be a tough episode to get through in some ways, especially in the event that we see Kate Beckett killed off at the end of it. (There’s no confirmation that this is happening, but it’s obviously what people are fearful of given that she’s not an easy character to write out of the show.)
What we have for you above is one of the first photos of Katic alongside Nathan Fillion from this episode entitled “Crossfire,” where Kate and Rick are going to do everything that they can in order to stop LokSat in some way. This is going to prove to be no easy task, as they are battling an enemy that has worked very hard to stay hidden and use other people to do their bidding.
As we’ve reported a few times over, there are actually some separate endings that have been crafted for the show depending on whatever ABC decides for the future of the series. It’s certainly possible that this works as a series finale, or a season finale that presses pause until season 9 starts in the future. Either way, we’ve heard that the majority of the storylines as established this season will be tied up in some way.

Tvline reports Nathan Fillion has inked the deal for S9. ABC will decide on 5/6 whether to continue or not. I guess Friday we’ll know if Beckett lives or dies.

We have a little less than a hour and a half left of Castle, possibly for ever, a spin off with out the both of them is just a non starter. The finale act is going to be played out by the two worst show runners Castle has ever had, and they painted themselves into a corner. They only have one good way out, and that is the two of them riding off on their motorcycles. But that is not what the two show runners and ABC Corp wants. For us millions of fans around the world would love for that to happen, and give us one last season of these two together. So plan on seeing the worst ending ever.

If this is the end of the series , you’ll see them ride off on their motorcycles , if there will be a season 9, you can expect to see Beckett get hit by numerous bullets and die in RC’S arms.
