‘Girl Meets World’ season 3 to premiere in June; check out ‘Girl Meets High School’ promo now!

While we may not know for certain just yet as to when “Girl Meets World” season 3 is going to premiere, we do at least know now the premiere month (which we suppose is better than nothing): June. That was revealed in the new promo from the Disney Channel below. Sure, we’ve heard rumors about specific dates here and there, but nothing 100% official from the network.

For now, though, this premiere is going to air as a two-part event entitled “Girl Meets High School,” and over the course of a weekend. The airing structure seems at least fairly similar here to the three-part “Girl Meets Texas” sage in season 2.

So what about the story? What we know for sure now is that the premiere is going to start up with Riley Matthews and coming heading to high school for the first time, where they will quickly learn that they no longer are the big dogs on campus in the way that they once were. Instead, they’ll have to contend with everything from bullies to changing feelings. At one point, it even seems like the move could bring out some previously-unexplored tension between Lucas and Riley, as he tells her that she is “too much” for him at a given moment. It’s hard to tell what will happen from here, but we imagine that it’ll be explored.

Oh, and we should also mention here that Cory is still around! He’s also made the move to high school, and will remain involved in the characters’ lives.
