‘Chicago Fire’ season 4 spoilers: Are lives on the line?

Chicago Fire -By the time we make it to the end of “Chicago Fire” this season, we’re going to get a little bit of news that really should not shock anyone at all out there: There will be some people in danger. The show has created epic cliffhangers in the past, and it feels like the upcoming May 17 episode entitled “Superhero” (something that many firefighters are considered to be by members of the community, episode young people) could be setting up something of this variety.

The synopsis below does a good job of telling you precisely what is coming up, and that includes everything from Casey’s political career and Dawson potentially making a huge decision of her own:

“Lt. Boden (Eamonn Walker) and Jimmy (Steven R. McQueen) find themselves at odds in dealing with the aftermath of recent events while Kidd (guest star Miranda Rae Mayo) is forced to deal with her unstable and volatile ex, Grant (guest star Guy Burnet). With the help of firehouse 51, Dawson (Monica Raymund) tries to put her best foot forward in her pursuit for fostering Louie. At the urging of Susan Weller (guest star Lauren Stamile), his new political consultant, Casey (Jesse Spencer) tends to his Alderman duties and leaves town with her to attend a three-day summit. Much to his surprise, Casey embraces his new role while Susan urges him to consider grander aspirations. Meanwhile, the house responds to a dangerous structure fire that puts one of their own in a desperate situation.”

“Chicago Fire” has already been ordered for a fifth season, so rest assured that there will be no situation here where your questions are left unanswered. We’ll just have to wait and see precisely what comes up as we start to move forward towards the future.
