For anyone out there who was wondering whether or not “Quantico” was going to hold off on the final showdown between Alex Parrish and the terrorist until the second season, rest assured that is not happening. Based on some of the first details that we’ve got below from the upcoming finale entitled “Yes,” it seems as though the two parties are going to meet before the curtain officially drops on this season:
“It’s graduation day for the NATS of Quantico, while, in the future, Alex and her team find themselves head-to-head with the terrorist.”
First things first, can we celebrate the fact that the Quantico storyline seems to be over? It’s tremendous to think that we could finally be moving forward from what has been the most frustrating part of the show, and we hope that someone makes the conscientious decision to refocus more on the future story and some of the interesting twists and turns that are present there. It’s going to be a turning point in the show one way or another, since the only way to include the training academy moving forward beyond this season is in the event that we suddenly see many of our core characters becoming teachers in some shape or form.
Who knows, though? Given that there are so episodes to go between now and when this episode airs, that could lead to some more developments that give us a better sense of what season 2 looks like. For now, we have nothing else to do other than speculate.
