‘Jane the Virgin’ season 2 finale spoilers: Will the wedding go off without a hitch?

If there is one thing that we have certainly come to see time and time again when it comes to network TV, it is this: They love to end finales with weddings … or at least finales that are promoted with weddings. Sometimes, not everything really goes according to plan.

What can we expect to see when it comes to “Jane the Virgin“? That’s still to be seen, but the synopsis below for the big finale certainly suggests that Jane and Michael could see almost everything fall apart right before they were set to say “I do”:

“After moving up the wedding day, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Michael (Brett Dier) find all their carefully made plans thrown into chaos. To make matters worse, Jane is unhappy with her current graduate thesis, but changing it might put a wrinkle in her big day. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) still has feelings for Jane, but is torn about whether he should speak now or forever hold his peace. Petra (Yael Grobglas) has her own family drama when Anezka (Yael Grobglas) has a medical emergency and ends up in the hospital. Meanwhile, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) and Xo (Andrea Navedo) are finally coming to terms with the state of their relationship until Xo gets surprising news.”

Obviously, we do have hope that one way or another, everything will end as it should … at least eventually. Maybe we don’t get a neat ending to the season, but whatever happens here should set up a super-entertaining third season. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens!
