‘Reign’ season 3 spoilers: Can Mary build a worthy army?

By the end of “Reign” season 3, it is looking more and more like Mary’s skills are going to be put to the test. This is without even mentioning the show’s budget, given that we have to assume that it will take a lot to build an army on the show.

Yet, an army is the main focus of the upcoming episode of the show airing on The CW May 16 entitled “To the Death,” at least based on the new synopsis below:

“Mary (Adelaide Kane) realizes her need to return to Scotland is becoming increasingly imminent and that along with the help of Bash (Torrance Coombs), she must raise her own army to save her throne. Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) enlists Lola’s (Anna Popplewell) help to find out information about her mother, which backfires when Lola gets caught.”

While we are at the moment right in the thick of sweeps, one of the good news about a show like “Reign” is that it’s not going to be going anywhere for a little while longer. Thanks to it premiering so late in the spring after the conclusion of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” it will be airing into the early summer. It’s already been renewed for a fourth season, so feel free to rejoice at the thought of getting a lot more of the show for a long time.
