‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 video: Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke talk story and more on ‘GMA’

Let’s face it: At this point, there are so many “Game of Thrones” interviews out there that it is utterly impossible in order to get to them all. This is what happens when you have a cast larger than almost any other on TV, and then also to go along with it a billion or so media outlets who are all interested in chatting with them.

One of the better interviews that we’ve seen as of late is a new “Good Morning America” interview featuring some of the show’s most-notable women including Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Hannah Murray, Lena Headey, Maisie Williams and Nathalie Emmanuel. The show has already done one of these with the men from the show, so this was a change-up from that and it produced a number of fun, energetic moments with some of the cast.

Ultimately, one thing that you do have to remember here is that these cast members are never going to be able to talk about upcoming events, so you have to go with different angles in interviews. Therefore, relying on chemistry, fun, and new angles is the way to go in the event you want to be memorable. Otherwise, you run the risk of presenting the same exact soundbites as every other show / publication out there.

The second episode of season 6 is going to air on HBO Sunday night. As you would expect, we’re going to have so much more in the way of information before we get around to it airing.
