‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 22 video: McGarrett, Danny clash over mobile games

There’s another new episode of “Hawaii Five-0” coming to CBS on Friday night, and who knew in advance that Danny and McGarrett would be relying on a phone app creator in order to help figure out some clues to a case?

In the sneak peek below, you can see the two in a lengthy conversation with a man responsible for what is apparently the newest phone game sweeping the nation, one involving a penguin (who can fly for some reason) popping on people. Sure, it’s ridiculous, but at the same exact time this is exactly the same sort of thing people eat up. Plus, with in-app purchases, the guy makes a fortune … and this is apparently the sort of thing that one of these two detectives has a problem with. They accuse him of profiting off of people who don’t know any better, and are effectively just throwing money down the drain. Sure, that is what is going on here, but this guy hardly seems to care in the slightest.

Ultimately, we’ll have to see what happens in this episode, as the majority of the Danny / McGarrett story is going to revolve more around a quest for the two cops to try and figure out precisely with what appears to be a dangerous catfishing game that is transpiring. While they are doing this, Max may also have his hands full with a storyline that is largely about him trying to ensure his survival with the help of others. We’re nearing the end of the season, and there are some major adventures ahead.
