Is ‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 22 new tonight? On ‘Homefront,’ the finale, and more
This has been a very strange past few days when it comes to “NCIS.” After learning that Cote de Pablo would not be returning for the season finale as Ziva, it was easy to have a bold reaction to that — especially when it comes to the reasons why she was not returning.
This is something you can read more about in our original story, so we don’t want to say too much more about it today other than that it frames what we could be seeing in the finale in a few weeks. For now, we’re just here to remind you that there is no new episode airing on CBS tonight. The first of the final episodes will begin airing next month with “Homefront,” which has a story featuring Fornell and Vance, but will probably be remembered best for the appearance by First Lady Michelle Obama and the show filming in the White House.
Both this episode and the final two should help to set up Tony’s exit from the show, but it will still be primarily highlighted in the finale “Family First.”
One other thing that you can expect is an appearance from Sarah Clarke and Duane Henry in both of the last two episodes of the season. One agent leaves, and apparently the show decided that they needed two separate people in order to properly replace them. This may sound strange, but consider that with Weatherly’s salary being what it was thanks to two seasons of the show, producers may still be saving money this way.

Glad a certain woman isn’t coming back. People like her just ruin everything.
Excited for the last episodes of this season but sad at the same time. I’ll miss Michael’s character so much. Since Ziva was gone he finally became the real Tony again. Not the fool who allows some woman to treat him like trash. I will miss Tony.
