‘Blindspot’ episode 20 preview: The story for Jaimie Alexander, cast in ‘Sweet Hardhearted Stone’
“Blindspot” is a show that does love to give you a really wide array of different twists and turns, but it also focuses on relationships more than you would think when you just hear about its base premise of someone with secrets buried within her tattoos. It’s a complicated show, and one that has mysteries at this point even hidden in episode titles. Let’s just put it this way: It’s not like NBC would name the next installment “Sweet Hardhearted Stone” unless they were really disguising something else. That phrase in itself barely makes any sense.
Luckily, the synopsis below for this episode does not suffer exactly the same fate:
“When a mysterious young girl with a tattoo connection falls into Borden’s (Ukweli Roach) care, he brings her case to the FBI team– but her ties to a terrorist organization prove dangerous for all of them. Meanwhile, a conflicted Jane (Jaimie Alexander) starts to grow close to Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) again, and friendship blossoms between Borden and Patterson (Ashley Johnson).”
With there only being a few episodes left, let’s just hope that Jane and Weller figure out where they stand before the finale. There’s already been so much “will they or won’t they?” here between the two of them that we’re not entirely sure how you sustain that for another full season. Everything else for now is hard to get a good read on as of yet, but we really hope that this show throws everything at the wall before we get to the finale, just to get people excited for what’s ahead.
