‘Big Brother Canada 4’ live feed spoilers: Things get personal for Joel, Cassandra, and Jared

While we still don’t know precisely why “Big Brother Canada” decided to get rid of the live feeds last night, the longer the day has gone on, the more we’ve been made aware of just how emotional things were in the game for Joel last night.

From what we’ve heard, apparently Jared and Kelsey went on the offensive with him, making a series of character attacks about Tim and Cassandra that they later denied. The two got to him on a personal level, and for the time being he felt hurt. However, Cass and Tim have since made him further realize that they were just trying to work him over; they may think that they have Joel, but they don’t.

Meanwhile, we’ve seen Jared also try to use his preexisting relationship with Cassandra against her, claiming that everyone in Winnipeg would be embarrassed and ashamed of her for getting him out of the game. He’s basically tried the whole “disloyal” card with her, and has almost forgotten that the two are playing a game.

One quick sidebar before we finish: Why isn’t the show just acknowledging the fact that Cassandra and Jared knew each other before the season? It’s not exactly that unusual that two young people in the Winnipeg area know each other, since we’re dealing with a country with a smaller population than the U.S. and it’s far from the first time this has happened. We last saw it play out in a big way during the second season. We really don’t think it’s embarrassing for casting.
