‘Scorpion’ season 3: Premiere date speculation for Elyes Gabel – Katharine McPhee series
Tonight, we say farewell to one of the most entertaining network shows out there in “Scorpion” for the time being. Based on everything that is out there on “Toby or Not Toby,” it’s probably going to be action-packed, emotional, funny, and a few other things that we don’t quite know just yet.
From here, the waiting will begin unfortunately until the show starring Elyes Gabel and Katharine McPhee returns. But when will it return? We wish that we had a crystal ball to pinpoint a specific date right now, but alas, we do not. Instead, we’re going to try to estimate based on the information that we do have.
The first two seasons of the show premiered, respectively, on September 22 and September 21. If this tradition holds, it could mean that the show returns on Monday, September 19. We would be surprised if CBS were to move the show to a new night, mostly because it already is their #1 Monday show and many of the other nights are locked in. For example, Tuesday is all about the “NCIS” franchise, and Wednesday has “Survivor” and most-likely “Criminal Minds.” The latter hasn’t been renewed yet, but it feels like a sure thing.
One other date we’d advise you to keep in mind is Monday, September 26. Since premiere dates would eventually be shifting earlier and earlier in the year otherwise, at some point the “official” start of the fall season is pushed back slightly. One other factor could be CBS’ summer lineup, which may be messed with slightly due to the Olympics.
