‘Reign’ season 3 spoilers: Will Mary fight to protect Elizabeth?
Sometimes, when it rains, it pours when it comes to TV shows … and we’re glad that it is doing the latter now when it comes to “Reign.” We went for many months without having much news at all when it comes to this show, so with that in mind, we’re thrilled to finally have some scoop about what’s coming up this season.
Monday night marks the show’s spring premiere, but for the sake of this article we’re looking two weeks beyond that for “Strange Bedfellows” on May 9. The synopsis below offers up a little more news as to what to expect:
“Mary (Adelaide Kane), in order to protect Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten), unknowingly puts Gideon’s (Ben Geurens) life in danger. To save him, Mary turns to another Englishman for help – Robert Dudley (Charlie Carrick). Meanwhile, Bash (Torrance Coombs) is determined to track down the men behind the threats to Catherine (Megan Follows).”
Basically, this sounds like there is going to be a whole bevy of royal drama crammed in here, and that’s a lot to be excited about! Let’s just hope that the remainder of the season proves to be every bit as dramatic as the first half, but we do hope that there is a little less in the wake of character death. There are at least a few people who we know aren’t going anywhere in the near future — with Elizabeth of course topping that list. If “Reign” was a little bit of a higher-rated show, we wouldn’t have been that surprised if they considered a spin-off about the English side of things.
