‘Home Fires’ season 2, episode 5 preview: Is Frances in danger?

It may be crazy to think, but we are already in the home stretch of “Home Fires” on ITV. There are only so many more stories left for the show to tell, and with that we’re just going to have to see how exactly it is that the network wants to close the door on things.

Given that this is a show that often does mire itself in heavy drama, though, you really should not be surprised that in the immediate future, you can expect to see more than a little of this play out. Take a look at the synopsis below for more of that, in particular when it comes to a potentially-dangerous situation that we see play out for Frances:

“Harvest time has arrived, but Steph is struggling to meet the quota and risks losing the farm. Sarah finds herself in a dangerous situation, while Teresa has a big decision to make. A newcomer to the village causes tension between Sarah and Frances, and there are more unexpected but welcome visitors for Joyce and the Brindsleys. When Alison discovers the reason behind the parachute accidents, she makes a horrifying connection to the factory. She needs to warn Frances, but it may be too late.”

By the time we get to the end of this episode, we certainly hope that the foundation will be set in stone for the end of the season, and what could happen as we start to look even more towards the future. We don’t know what the future holds at present, but we’d like to see the series continue for some time.
