‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 2, episode 23 video: Deeks waits for the ‘other shoe to drop’
Just in case you want to see what a slightly-depressed version of Deeks looks like, we have a way to see that courtesy of the latest sneak peek below from Monday night’s all-new “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode.
Specifically, what we’re seeing here from the Deeks character in his conversation with Kensi is a little bit of self-doubt that things are going to somehow remain as good for him as they are right now. After all, there does seemingly remain a rather large part of him that thinks that the “other shoe is going to drop” when it comes to how great things are in his life. He’s got a wonderful relationship, things are great with his mother, and there are not too many stresses weighing him down.
We do understand very much where a good chunk of this paranoia is coming from, since sometimes we do get so bogged down with everyday life that we have a tendency to not see the forest through the trees. Yet, hopefully Kensi will be able to convince him to just enjoy his life for what it is right now, and deal with more of the major stresses when they happen to show up down the road.
Just in case you’re wondering what else is going to be coming on this episode, one of the larger story threads seems to merely be seeing Sam and Callen going undercover as firefighters, which in turn will probably make this show feel more like “Chicago Fire” than it has ever felt before.

Love Densi!! I was hoping for a proposal before the end of this Season but it looks like we wont see one until Season 8. Havent we waited long enough!! It took 6 years for them to become an official couple. At least this Season has been better than Season 6 which was all Callen & Sam.
