‘The Blacklist’ season 3 spoilers: First look at Famke Janssen’s Scottie!

If you have been reading some stories around the internet when it comes to “The Blacklist” and the upcoming spin-off pilot, then you may already know a thing or two about Susan Hargrave. This character, played by Famke Janssen (“X-Men,” “How to Get Away with Murder”) is set to potentially star in the new show as a sort of Reddington counterpart for Tom Keen.

We’re still waiting to figure out more about the character (nicknamed “Scottie”), but at least you don’t have to wait any longer for a first photo of her! The above above (via TV Guide) shows off the character, and you can get the sense right away that she and Ryan Eggold’s character have some sort of history and don’t quite get along. He’s angry about something, but she does not appear to be anywhere near as concerned about whatever it is that he is talking about.

You will have a chance to learn more about Scottie on the show next month; there’s no accurate timetable just yet as to when NBC will make a firm decision on the spin-off series, but our feeling at present is that the network will probably make something a little bit more official clear by the time we roll around to the end of May sweeps. Given that this is an established franchise, it is pretty easy to be optimistic about its future on the air.
