‘NCIS’ season 13 spoilers: First scoop on Duane Henry, Sarah Clarke’s big arrival
We know that “NCIS” has a few different priorities lined up as we near the end of season 13. First and foremost, we know that they have to find a compelling way to say goodbye to Michael Weatherly’s character of Tony DiNozzo, and that this is probably going to be a story that is set up over the next three episodes (starting with “Homefront” on May 3).
To go along with that, though, there is also the show’s desire to introduce Sarah Clarke as Tess Monroe and Duane Henry as Clayton Reeves before the end of the season. We feel like their thinking here is that they want to get viewers somewhat familiar with them in these final episodes, that way it will not be as jarring when the show returns this fall. You’ll at least know many of the main characters (provided the plan remains the same to make them regulars), and they can then dive more into the story.
These actors will first appear in the May 10 episode “Dead Letter,” and you can get some further information regarding this story below:
“The NCIS team, alongside the FBI and MI6, continue an international manhunt for an escaped British spy who has left one colleague fighting for their life in ICU, on NCIS, Tuesday, May 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Sarah Clarke guest stars as FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe and Duane Henry guest stars as MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves.”
Ideally, our hope is that we spend a few minutes on these characters, get to know the basics, and keep the show as a whole balanced. It’s going to be a difficult tightrope act through the final episodes of this season.
