Is ‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 21 new tonight on CBS? New look at ‘The Extra Mile’
While we may have had the strongest “Blue Bloods” episode of the season last week courtesy of the super-thrilling / intense “Down the Rabbit Hole,” we come bearing some rather-unfortunate news now: There is no new installment airing on CBS tonight.
Instead, the show is on what is their last hiatus of the season before returning on April 29 with “The Extra Mile”; the finale airs the following week on May 6. There’s really no specific reason for the delay at present, at least other than the fact that the network probably wants there to be at least one episode airing in the month of May, and they would otherwise be ending this in April before sweeps even begins.
The photo above is from “The Extra Mile,” and specifically, it shows off Erin Reagan in what is a pretty tricky situation for her. She and Anthony in this episode have to find a way to convince a fleeing witness to testify, when otherwise they would be afraid to due to retaliation. This is probably not going to be an easy task for them in the slightest, but the good news that we have on the subject right now is that these two are clearly rather great at their jobs, and they find ways to get stuff like this done more often than not. More than likely, they will succeed once more here.
Of course, there will be a few other stories in the episode as well, and we look forward to profiling them further over the coming days.
