‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 20 video: An emotional sneak peek

Typically when we do these “Grey’s Anatomy” sneak peek articles, we’re talking about stories that specifically pertain to some of the characters, and the emotional circumstances that are going to be arriving at the doorstep over the course of a given episode. This time around, though, we’re putting the focus on the case itself. It’s going to be a tear-jerker based on what we see below.

At the center of the case is a young boy who was shot accidentally by his friend, who was just playing with him when a gun accidentally went off. This leads of course to questions of gun control, and of course keeping a gun in a safe place in the event that you have one.

Also, there’s another issue present here in Amelia telling the child that his friend was not dead, given that they are not necessarily out of the woods yet when it comes to treating him. Amelia may feel somewhat confident, but as we’ve seen so many times on this show, that doesn’t necessarily mean something as twists and turns can happen during treatment.

Will this put a further strain on Owen and Amelia in the process? That is yet another thing to watch out for in this episode. Stay tuned for some further insight, and we’ll have some more information all about it come Thursday. Given everything that these two have been through already, the last thing that we want to see is something else happen to cause them anguish.
