‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: ‘The Last Shot at a Second Chance’ and a big Booth story
While it was rather depressing for us to be missing “Bones” for so many consecutive weeks to go by without new episodes, we’re clearly seeing the silver lining here now and reaping the benefits. After all, we’re getting a whole mess of episodes this spring, including some personal cases for Booth, Brennan, and some other characters.
For the upcoming “The Last Shot at a Second Chance,” we could have a particularly emotional one for David Boreanaz’s character, and to go along with that, more evidence that Laura Spencer continues to find a way to spread her time across both this and “The Big Bang Theory” without a problem. This episode airs on Thursday, May 5, and you can see the official synopsis below:
“The Jeffersonian investigates the murder of a convicted felon who had been released to a halfway house, but disappeared, and a suspect in the case has ties to Booth. Meanwhile, Brennan testifies at an FBI hearing about the circumstances regarding her assault of an unarmed suspect from a previous case, and the outcome of the hearing could lead to her suspension and prevent her from working with the FBI. Aubrey and Jessica’s (guest star Laura Spencer) first kiss is delayed again and Hodgins continues to push Angela away.”
The latter story regarding Hodgins continues to be the most distressing, mostly because we’re talking about a relationship that he could probably use for comfort right now more than any other given everything that he is going through. However, there are emotional ramifications to this life change for him that could cause a strain.
