‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12 spoilers: Could new case bring Jackson, April closer together?

It’s safe to say that “Grey’s Anatomy” the past few seasons have been an emotional rollercoaster and then some for the characters of Callie and Arizona. As a matter of fact, we don’t know how you could say anything other than this. They’ve fought, had moments of hope, and then squandered those moments again. As of late they’ve dried to be on better terms, but some more drama when it comes to their daughter Sofia could change that.

You can get some more information on that in the synopsis below for the May 5 episode “Mama Tried,” which is going to give Sara Ramirez and Jessica Capshaw plenty of material, while at the same time feature April working more hands-on with a pregnant patient at the time when she is expecting a child of her own:

“Callie and Arizona are at odds over Sofia’s future, and Stephanie questions the status of her relationship with Kyle. Meanwhile, Alex and April work on a pregnant teen that is readmitted to Grey Sloan Memorial.”

We really hope at this point that April and Jackson are on a little bit of better terms, because like with Callie and Arizona, they are on a little bit of their own rollercoaster. There’s hope for them, but creator Shonda Rhimes doesn’t like to make things easy for her character. There are many challenges in the way, and they have to work hard to get what they want in the end. We’ll see what happens.
