‘Dancing with the Stars’ results preview: Are Doug Flutie, Jodie Sweetin, Kim Fields in danger?

Flutie -

Monday night marks the beginning of Switch-Up Week on “Dancing with the Stars,” which admittedly is probably our least-favorite week the show does. (Unless of course they do a Kidz Bop Week or something.) We like seeing people with their original pro, working to further cultivate that relationship.

So who is in serious danger going into this particular results show? We do feel like there are a few different candidates here all across the board.

Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff – The former NFL star has been routinely one of the weaker stars in the competition, and when you look from the standpoint of scores alone, he should probably be the person to leave. Obviously it bums us out to say this, given that we’ve always been a reasonably big fan of Flutie’s.

Kim Fields and Sasha Farber – She has not been terrible, but at the same time she has not been at the top of the leaderboard. We also just worry that her main voting blocks are fans of “The Real Housewives” / fans of “The Facts of Life.” We know that when it comes to the former, “Housewives” stars don’t tend to make it all that far.

Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe – It’s another sitcom star facing at least a little bit of danger. We like Jodie, and feel like her story for the show is in part inspirational. She’s just been in jeopardy a couple of times now, and unless the show is hardcore-trolling us by making us think “In Jeopardy” means something more than it really does here, we do think that she’s facing some danger tonight.

We’re saying ultimately that Doug goes tonight; we’ve been 3/3 so far this season in predictions, but at the same time it hasn’t exactly been that hard to predict to date.

Update: Thanks to the theme, nobody was sent home tonight!
