‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 20 video: Tea Leoni, Tim Daly, cast talk filming at UN

MadamOn Sunday night’s new episode of “Madam Secretary,” we are getting a chance to see something very different and special: Some scenes that are actually filmed at the United Nations in New York and the General Assembly. It is a place that only a few people have the honor and distinction to film at, and the show is hopefully going to have a chance to do something meaningful here when it comes to the story. We’ll have a chance to see in just over 24 hours.

In the video below, you get an explanation as to why Elizabeth McCord is at the UN first and foremost: To seek help from other countries in an effort to stop a terrorist organization. It is a matter in which there is quite a bit of common ground, since almost every person out there wants to ensure that there are no such problems plaguing their own country.

In addition to this, we have Tea Leoni, Tim Daly, and many other cast members and producers talking about what it was like filming in this place. Leoni commented that at first, she was not nervous about filming in the General Assembly, only to start getting nervous after she was asked if she was feeling that way. All of them understand the sense of importance that comes from filming there, and they feel like the tone and outlook of the show, which is more positive as opposed to dystopian or hopeless, is one of the reasons they were able to ultimately make this happen.
